of the work behind it.

Select a stage to see how the next part of the audit builds on the last.

01 / UNDERSTAND THE EXPOSURE

Start with the process.
Understand its risks.

Link each assessment to a saved auditable process. Record likelihood, impact and control effectiveness, then review calculated inherent and residual risk.

CLARITY IN THE DETAILS

More guidance.
Less guesswork.

The interface explains required inputs, linked information and calculated results where the work happens.

01

Know what to enter.

Required, optional and automatic fields are labelled. Contextual guidance explains the purpose of a register and the next step.

02

Understand the signals.

Calculated scores, capacity checks and risk indicators help highlight what needs attention. Professional judgments remain visible.

03

Review before release.

Source readiness checks identify missing requirements before a controlled output can be confirmed and released.

EXPLORE AN EXAMPLE↗

What does an Amber KRI mean?

A key risk indicator is a measurement that helps flag a change in exposure.

Operational exceptions unresolved beyond SLA

0%10% · Amber15% · Red20%

At 12%, this example is Amber. Review the exposure and agree the appropriate response with its owner.

Illustrative category preset: Green below 10%, Amber from 10%, Red from 15%. Review appetite, deadlines and escalation separately. Other categories may use different metrics and units.

FROM WORKSPACE TO OUTPUT

Present the outcome.
Retain the context.

Preview your output, resolve source checks, then confirm a controlled PDF release. Retained snapshots preserve what was released, even when the underlying records change.

  • Source-linked report and form content
  • Draft downloads for review
  • Versioned, retained release snapshots

Document Management indexes files in your controlled repository. Classification labels describe handling; they do not encrypt a PDF or grant access to the referenced file.

A WORKSPACE THAT FITS THE FUNCTION

For the practitioner.
For the whole team.

Independent practitioners

Use a consistent, connected structure to manage the work from planning through final reporting and follow-up.

What does AuditCraft Suite cover?+

The suite covers Strategy & Governance, Audit Universe, Risk Assessment, ERM, annual planning, calendar, resources, engagement planning, information requests, communications, fieldwork, findings, Exit Meetings, reporting, follow-up, Committee work, QAIP, document references and PDF outputs.

Is AuditCraft a browser application?+

Yes. Access the application at app.auditcraftsuite.com using an authorised account. Your company administrator assigns access to the appropriate workspace.

Can a team work in the same company workspace?+

Yes. Company memberships provide access roles, while Audit Resources records the people eligible for engagement assignments. Team access is subject to the company’s assigned licence and user-seat limit.

Does a complete record mean the audit is approved?+

No. Completeness checks identify required inputs. Formal review, approval and release checks are separate. Professional decisions and actual evidence remain the responsibility of the people performing and reviewing the audit.

Where are supporting documents kept?+

Keep the actual documents in your controlled repository, such as SharePoint or another approved location. AuditCraft’s Document Management register records their references, locations and review metadata; it does not upload the external files.

Can I export reports and forms?+

The Print / PDF Centre provides draft previews and supported PDF outputs. Controlled releases require the relevant source checks and reviewer confirmation. Release history retains the saved output snapshot.

Will the system explain how to use each area?+

The application includes contextual instructions, field labels and a help glossary. These explain the sequence, required inputs, calculated results and linked records. Some decisions still require professional audit judgment.
